There’s nothing like a good book! Susie likes old travelogues for
their astonishing understatement of disastrous events; Last Voyage
and My Hike are her picks. Barb is inspired by graphic novels and
children’s books that tell non-fiction stories in a new way. The
Librarian of Basra is heart-breaking and beautiful, and Persepolis
tells an Iranian woman’s coming-of-age story. She adds David Sedaris
