Dwight, with a bit more education you would understand that you could not possibly be converted to homosexuality if you are truly heterosexual. Likewise, this works in reverse. Ergo, your children cannot be "converted" either. HOWEVER, you could have a gay child or grandchild that is afraid to tell you given your attitude so perhaps you should temper it some. Bernadette, one of the main reasons that marriage is an advantage is for the financial and emotional stability, especially when children are involved. Here in Massachusetts we are working hard to keep from having a group of second class citizens as has been happening in the remainder of the country. Can't figure out whatever has happened to separation of church and state. Barb & Susie, thanks so much for this show! As for Mitt Romney, he is the perfect personification of a bigot! Here is a question not asked; “Can you be too Gay?” Maybe it is just because I am older than dirt but I think being gay is dysfunctional. Back in the 50’s they would lock you up and treat the homosexuality like alcoholism or any other disease. Interestingly around the 1900’s they would lock people up for masturbation. Personally I don’t care if someone is gay as long as they are not trying to convert me or my children and I think that is where the rub is. I had a professor tell the class one day; “if your parents told you boy/girl sex is the only sex there is your parents did you a disservice”. Wow! This is the type of social engineering that should not be included in my tuition unless advertised. When I am paying for Physics I don’t need a workshop on condems.
