Hi Gals, Well, I've been busy, busy as you know, Susie, and just got to listen to this today.

Dwight, with a bit more education you would understand that you could not possibly be converted to homosexuality if you are truly heterosexual. Likewise, this works in reverse. Ergo, your children cannot be "converted" either. HOWEVER, you could have a gay child or grandchild that is afraid to tell you given your attitude so perhaps you should temper it some.

Bernadette, one of the main reasons that marriage is an advantage is for the financial and emotional stability, especially when children are involved. Here in Massachusetts we are working hard to keep from having a group of second class citizens as has been happening in the remainder of the country. Can't figure out whatever has happened to separation of church and state.

Barb & Susie, thanks so much for this show! As for Mitt Romney, he is the perfect personification of a bigot!

Gregg...it did occur to me that I might be showing an Aussie bias on this week's song *waves flag with pride*...well done on all your choices though.

Dwight I don't know where you live but I find it difficult to believe that all the homosexuals you've known have lived "short and miserbale lives". If it's tru I would suggest it had less to do with them being homosexual and more to do with them knowing someone who as misguided and ill-informed as yourself. Yes I know that's a harsh thing to do say but your whole "they're ok unless they're converting me" mindeset is reprehenisble, morally bankrupt rubbish

First Ditto on the music, second if this is a pro form it can also be a con form, if this is truly an open exchange of ideas. Gregg “thanks for sharing” I am entitled my opinions and sure it would be easy to keep my mouth shut however when you stay silent that means you agree and I just do not agree with a destructive live styles. Not to say all homosexuals live in a destructive live style but the friends and family members I have known over the years have all lived a short and miserable life.

Lastly, polygamy was mentioned in the show and my comment was meant to be a light-hearted, a joke, tongue and check. Relax big guy I am not bashing the Homosapeans you would know it if I was. I think?

Dwight I don't think I heard anything about polygamy in the podcast. Also, if you have nothing against being gay why don't you just keep your mouth shut and your thoughts to yourself. Believe me, there's no one lurking around the corner waiting to "convert" you or your children. Come into the 21st century and leave your 1950s mindset back there. I think this show was about marriage and partner rights. Not an open forum for you on homosexuality.

Thanks Bernadette! I pick all the songs. Sometimes they're a little obvious but I do my best. Could it be that you like this week's music because the artist shares your corner of the world?

I thing we've ALL (gay and straight) given the Government too much power over us. Why is it that ANYONE needs to have a "legal" marriage (ie approved by the Government). Why does ANYONE need a license to love?

So now your down on Polygamy, is there anything do you support? Here is a question not asked; “Can you be too Gay?”

Maybe it is just because I am older than dirt but I think being gay is dysfunctional. Back in the 50’s they would lock you up and treat the homosexuality like alcoholism or any other disease. Interestingly around the 1900’s they would lock people up for masturbation.

Personally I don’t care if someone is gay as long as they are not trying to convert me or my children and I think that is where the rub is. I had a professor tell the class one day; “if your parents told you boy/girl sex is the only sex there is your parents did you a disservice”. Wow! This is the type of social engineering that should not be included in my tuition unless advertised. When I am paying for Physics I don’t need a workshop on condems.

Reality being stranger than fiction I will leave it there unless someone wants to give me a reality check.
