School Curriculum - From Irritating to Irrelevant

Now that they are adults, Susie and Barb decide that everything they needed to know, they did NOT learn in kindergarten, or for that matter, even by the end of high school. So Barb shares the course work for Barbara’s Academy and Susie lays out her Fantasy High School curriculum, where you learn what you really need in today’s world. (Hint, algebra and geometry NOT required!)

I think being a life-long learner is either inherent or inspired by great teachers and parents, so it requires a certain amount of luck. And on the topic of math, when I ask people for examples of how they use agebra or geometry, they give me examples that I consider basic math problems not requiring either one of those. Give us an example of needing/using algebra in everyday life, Mike.
