Susie makes a case for American Idol, one of her favorite show concepts, to Barb, who doesn’t watch it. Arguments include a comparison to Reality Shows and why it isn’t, and the irony-laden comparison to the Olympics which it beat out for viewers 2 to 1. Next she takes on the music business and explains why this system is better than the current “star-makin’ machinery behind the popular song.”
