Product Placement - Overpriced and Overdone

As Barb and Susie sip on Cokes in their Aeron chairs while
podcasting, they talk about the practice of product placement. How
much is it worth to get your RayBans on Tom Cruise? And who is making
the money which Barb informs us has increased astronomically? Susie
says agencies that work on commission only, and Barb tells of the
screenwriters wanting in on the action. Bottom line, the value drops
as the visual noise of myriad brands increases on movies and TV.
