Thrift Shopping - Vintage Nirvana or Dead Man Walking?
by Susie Watson on July 19th, 2005
Susie and Barb argue - can you believe it? - about whether thrift
shopping is cool or morbid. Susie is a lifelong fan, Barb won’t be

clothes were found on dead people. Although a millipede once crawled
out of a cool robe Susie scored, that hasn’t squelched her love of
the hunt for retro cool in dark and dank shops.

dang quesadillas and a piñata, and what do you get? The cult movie of
the decade. Why does this movie tickle the funny bone of so many
people of all ages? Barb and Susie discuss and theorize.
