We had a big, busy month of April at Pop Goes the Culture. From our fantasy drafts to our “happy hits” playlist to appearances at Planet Comicon in Kansas City (photos at the bottom of this post) and VisionCon in Springfield, Missouri (come join us for Day 3 today!), we’ve been cranking out the content and appearances — and we’re just getting warmed up for this summer. You can get involved in a few ways in the month of May:
- Join us Saturday, May 7th for Free Comic Book Day at Vintage Stock in Springfield, Missouri.
- Catch us presenting panels at Fan Expo St. Louis Friday, May 13th through Sunday, May 15th.
In addition to our live appearances, we’ve created a Fan Meetup Discord server, where you can join with fans of the podcast, entertainment, and pop culture from all over the world. Just click HERE to join the server and text or voice chat with others anytime. We’ll be hosting online events all year long on the server, starting with our Jackbox Game Night on Friday, May 20th at 9pm Eastern/8pm Central time.

This month on the Pop Goes the Culture podcast, we’re drafting our ultimate music festival lineups and the wild animals we think we could take in a fight. This month also sees the relaunch of The Backlot by Alamo Drafthouse podcast by your Pop Goes the Culture podcast team.
