Fortnite released a new season this week! What better time to have an at home Fortnite party! Our DIY pickaxe is the perfect craft for it!
What you need:
- Ninja blow dart shooter (we got ours at Dollar Tree) or any 1”- 1 1/2” thick rod.
- Floral foam
- decorating items such as glitter, glue, tape, ribbon, paint
Directions:
- Using a knife, carefully shape the floral foam into whatever shape of pickaxe you decide. Probably don’t let the kids do this part.
- Take the rod or dart shooter and insert it into the bottom of your pickaxe head (floral foam.)
- Decorate your pickaxe however you like using glitter, paints, glue, whatever!
This craft is so simple and my kids had a blast with it! Let them be as creative as they like! Their ideas may surprise you. Our Fortnite party was probably our favorite so far. If you have a craft/recipe/or party theme idea, drop it in the comments!
