Saturday Craft: DIY Mini Leg Lamp

Nothing will put you in the Christmas Spirit faster than a leg lamp. On top of that, “it’s a major award!” Make your own with our easy to follow instructions! Be careful though. It’s “fra-gee-lay.”

You will need:

  • Glue gun
  • Wine glass
  • LED tea light
  • beige and black card stock
  • 1pc any color construction paper
  • tape
  • scissors
  • Fine-tip sharpie

Instructions:

  1. Using your construction paper, wrap a cone around the top of your wine glass and secure with tape. Draw a line around the top and bottom of the glass on your paper.
  2. Remove your paper, untape, and cut along the lines. This will be your lampshade template. Place on top of beige card stock, trace, and cut out.
  3. Next, cut and fringe a piece of black card stock and glue onto your lampshade. Press up on the fringes to make them look more fringie.
  4. Now you can secure into lampshade shape using glue gun. Take your sharpie and draw five thick lines horizontally down your lampshade for decoration.
  5. Time for the leg. I just did my best to draw a leg shape and created the high heal and fishnets with sharpie.
  6. Cut out your leg and secure it to your wine glass stem with hot glue.
  7. Drop your tea light into the glass.
  8. Cover with lampshade and you’re done!
