The new school year is just around the corner! Many are choosing a virtual route for school this year and these adorable mason jar pension holders will go great on your computer desk!
What you need:
- Peach, white, and green colored paint
- mason jar
- small White and orange pompoms
- Medium googly eyes
- red felt
- Hot glue gun
Instructions:
- First, paint the entire inside of your jar Peach.
- Paint a white strip 1 1/2” thick on the outside/bottom of the jar. Paint a green, upside down triangle on the white strip where you want to be the front of your pencil holder and allow to dry.
- Cut open your googly eyes. Take the black circles out and glue them to your white pompom balls. (You could also just cut black circles out of felt)
- Glue the eyes to the Top/front of your jar.
- Glue an orange pompom directly underneath they eyes.
- Cut a beaker mouth shape out of red felt and tuck it under the nose a bit before glueing it on. Try to make yours look less like a turkey than mine.
- Fill your jar with pencils and let your cute new pencil holder brighten your day. 🙂
