It’s National Video Game Day! I let the kids choose this week’s video game themed project and they chose Zelda! So, I bring you, Zelda’s Fairy in a Jar!

You will need:

• any jar that will fit a ping pong ball
• a ping pong ball
• plastic water bottle
• X-acto knife
• fishing line or clear string
• hot glue gun
• tape
• paint

Instructions:

1. Using your x-acto knife, cut wing shapes out of the plastic water bottle and glue them to your ping pong ball.
2. Tape one end of the clear string to your Ping pong ball and the other end to the lid of your jar.
3. Next, paint your ping pong ball and wings any color you like. We chose white so that it would glow in the black light.
4. Lower your fairy into the jar and seal with the lid!
