Pop Goes the Culture Newsletter for July 2022

Before we take a look at what’s coming up this July, we’d like to take a look back at a couple of events from the month of June. Over Father’s Day weekend, Joey and Kenny worked Tremendicon in Springfield, Missouri, with Joey serving as the Master of Ceremonies. The event was created as a way for creatives across a number of disciplines to gather together to network, learn, inspire, and collaborate with those looking to break into their respective creative industries. The following weekend, Joey and Kenny loaded up and headed down to Jackson, Mississippi for Mississippi Comic Con, with Joey serving as the Master of Ceremonies and Kenny running the primary panel room. Turning our focus to July, this month we’re celebrating summer by drafting our favorite summertime treats, BBQ food and drinks, our favorite TV shows to have on in the background while doing something else, and we’ll be putting together our July playlist of our favorite one-hit wonders. We have a Jackbox Game Night scheduled for Friday night, July 15th at 8pm on the Fan Meetup Discord server. We’re also bringing back a couple of Pop Goes the Culture apparel designs to close out the summer in our online store, so be sure to get yours before they’re gone.
