Pop Goes the Culture Newsletter: July 2023

June was a bit of a transition month for us at Pop Goes the Culture. A lot of things could have gone wrong, but because wheels were turning long before the first of the month, everything turned out great. We introduced some new ways that YOU can interact with and be a part of the show. Our second set of hosts quickly picked up the vibe of the show and settled in right away. It’s great to have another set of ideas and opinions to bounce discussions off of. The additions also gave our old hosts a breather as we went back out on the road to Mississippi Comic Con. I’ve included some photos from the event below.

Things keep right on rolling in the month of July. Joey is emceeing Tremendicon, a creators and creatives focused event in Springfield, Missouri the weekend of Friday, July 7th through Sunday, July 9th. If you’ve ever want to network with and pick the brains of professionals making content throughout the entertainment industries, you’ll want to join us for that.

The following weekend, the convention crew loads up and heads to Longview, Texas for a one-day event — Longview Comic Con! This is our only scheduled stop in Texas in 2023, so come on out and join us along with a number of celebrity guests, cosplayers, and more. Get your tickets online in advance.

These are your last couple of weeks to pick up your Pop Goes the Culture  patriotic merch in our online store. Gear with this logo will go away on Saturday, July 15th to make room for our upcoming Back-to-School season merch, so order yours today before they are gone.
