Saturday Craft: DIY Record Clock

Feel like your room is missing something? Our DIY record clock is both functional and super cute!

You will need:

Instructions:

  1.  My clock kit just so happened to fit through the hole of the record perfectly. Not every clock kit will, so you might need to use a drill or a file to make the hole of your record just a bit bigger. CAREFULLY! If it does fit, you need to make sure it fits tightly by using the washer and nut included in the kit. If it doesn’t fit tightly, you can glue a piece of cardboard to the back to make sure it doesn’t hang funny on the wall. Just take a rectangle of cardboard and bend both ends of it and glue them to the record so that the cardboard will be able to rest against the wall and the record be parallel to the wall.
  2. Assemble clock kit according to instructions included.
  3. Flip over and glue the sawtooth picture hanger to the back of the clock kit.
  4. Set clock to correct current time.
  5. Hang up on the wall and be awesome!
